Story Line: Carmilla (Lewin) ventures into a role-playing game with her lover M (Ogalde) involving vampires and gothic rituals. When they meet Dahmer (Borquez), who lures them to his creepy lair, they learn the game is real, and so are the vampires.

Bottom Line: This rare entry in the Chilean gothic horror genre boasts the look and pacing of early Dario Argento. Although the story often spins its wheels, the special effects are excellent, considering the obviously low budget, with the occasional CGI effect inserted amid the usual blood splattering. The gore factor is the sole reason genre aficionados will look into this one, and said factor lives up to its title. --Buzz McClain
