Gameplay: Egg Mania is the most unique puzzle game to hit the market in some time. With a cast of lovable, hard-boiled, er, eggs--each with their own distinct personality (disco, punk, sporty)--the game plays like a reverse Tetris. The goal is to stack blocks as fast as possible, and the first yolk to the top wins. There's plenty of variety too. Play alone or with friends and chose from nine different modes. It's a welcome update of the age-old puzzle genre.

Bottom Line: Although it will never be as popular as Tetris, there is a great installed value for Egg Mania where rentals are concerned. It will find a select audience of gamers looking for a good time-burner. --Jon M. Gibson
