Gameplay: Somewhere between a quaint children's fairy tale and a childhood nightmare is Ico. Like many Japanese titles, Ico is equal parts sweet, odd and enveloping as it follows the adventures of a little boy unfortunate enough to be born with horns. An outcast in his village, he is befriended by a little girl in need of help.
Bottom Line: Ico is a role-playing adventure, a genre mix that's doing well. With involving gameplay, beautiful environments and the many hours needed to reach the end, expect steady and positive work-of-mouth to drive interest in this as a rental. --George T. Chronis
