Gameplay: This enhanced version of Rayman 2, which has appeared on PC, DC, N64 and PS, adds improved graphics and new options to the mix. In this graphically rich, all-3D action/adventure game Rayman is out to save his planet. While the main story line is a single-player experience, various two-player modes including soccer and maze mini-games are available. The roving camera angle could have been tweaked more.
Bottom Line: Ubi Soft's flagship franchise faces virtually no competition in the PS2 platform space (other than Ubi Soft's Donald Duck), which should help this game in sales and rentals. This title will appeal to hardcore and casual gamers alike. --John Gaudiosi
