Studio to jointly produce DVD series called Season in Review

DEC. 7 | Hart Sharp Video has teamed with StarGames and Collegiate Images to jointly produce a DVD series dubbed Season in Review.

Forthcoming titles will follow players’ journeys to college sports championship games. The companies will first document the ultimate winner of the Jan. 8 championship football game between Ohio State and the University of Florida. The DVD’s street date and pricing have not yet been determined.

This latest deal extends the existing relationship between the three companies, which collaborated on the sports title Live the Dream: The Texas Longhorns’ Magical March to the Championship. That DVD has sold more than 60,000 units since its Feb. 21 bow.

Hart Sharp distributes the DVDs, which StarGames will produce. Collegiate Images licenses university game footage for entertainment purposes.

“The major college championships continue to grow in importance every year,” StarGames president Jerry Solomon said. “These programs become must-have product for avid fans.”

Added Hart Sharp president Joe Amodei, “We are delighted to continue this tradition with the championship series, which compliments our growing list of sports titles.”
