FROM VARIETY: Education to get limited opening next spring

OCT. 10 | FROM VARIETY: Anchor Bay Entertainment has picked up theatrical and homevid rights for Fred Durst’s tyro helming effort, The Education of Charlie Banks.

Anchor Bay will give the pic, starring Jesse Eisenberg (The Squid and the Whale) and Jason Ritter, a limited theatrical bow next spring. Strongheart Pictures produced and Peter Elkoff wrote the pic, about college students learning to deal with life, love and facing their fears.

It bowed at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival.
