On the French Riviera, nothing comes cheap. And when it comes to men, Irene has very rich taste. One very confusing night, she is duped at her own game. Her knight in shining armor turns out to have no shine at all. Irene, however, is the woman of Jean's dreams. The only way to win her heart back is to turn the tables on her. Audrey Tautou (The Da Vinci Code, Ameli+¬) stars in a romantic comedy that proves true love is PRICELESS.

FIRST LOOK

Street: Nov. 18
Prebook: Oct. 18
> French romantic farce has lovely Audrey Tautou as a selling point.

A frothy comedy with a surprising edge, Priceless offers Audrey Tautou as Irene, a woman who sleeps with older wealthy men in order to enjoy the good life. By accident, she has a fling with Jean (Gad Elmaleh of The Valet), a hotel bartender she believes is rich. When Irene discovers Jean is broke, she drops him, and he becomes a gigolo in hopes of wooing her back. Nice chemistry between the charismatic leads, luxurious European settings and some truly funny moments highlight this Gallic spin on Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

Shelf Talk: One of France’s top stars, Tautou has picked up a following in the States for her roles in Amelie, A Very Long Engagement and The Da Vinci Code. She also is one of the few international performers who can get a foreign film opened in theaters here. Tautou’s popularity will help DVD business, so add Priceless to foreign-language arthouse inventories.

Extras: none
Director: Pierre Salvadori
