Sony recalls LittleBigPlanet

FROM VARIETY: Release delayed over controversial song

OCT. 20 | FROM VARIETY: Religious sensitivities have forced a recall and delay for one of the year's biggest videogames.

Sony Computer Entertainment has issued a worldwide recall from retailers for LittleBigPlanet, a heavily hyped PlayStation 3 exclusive that lets players create their own levels.

Originally scheduled to come out on Tuesday, Sony has pushed back the release by one week in order to replace a song on the soundtrack that includes two phrases from the Qur'an that might be offensive to Muslims.
