Warner continues ER on DVD

Now in its final season, ER soon will be retired from its Thursday night spot on NBC after 15 years. The tenth season of the series created by Michael Crichton, who died in November, will be released by Warner Home Video in time for the series finale. —Cindy Spielvogel

Lionsgate builds House for girls

Lionsgate has found a unique form for releasing Little House on the Prairie on DVD. The company will deliver two titles under the name The Girls of Little House on the Prairie, each featuring three episodes selected specifically to appeal to girls, along with being good for viewing by the whole family. Each will be packaged with collectible bonus items: a bookmark with Country School and mini-scrapbook with Prairie Friends. —C.S.
