To promote its 101 Dalmatians: Platinum Edition DVD, Disney turned Route 101 in Los Angeles into the ‘101 Dalmations Freeway,’ as 101 spotted cars drove on the highway to spcaLA’s Animal Village in Long Beach, Calif., on March 2.
The Business of Being Born producer Ricki Lake recently visited New Line’s office in Los Angeles. The documentary will be released on DVD May 6.

DEC. 12 | 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has slated its Blu-ray releases for the first quarter, featuring mostly action and drama catalog titles.
Mr. & Mrs. Smith will be on Blu-ray in March.
On deck first for Jan. 23 release are AVP: Alien vs. Predator, Men of Honor and Courage Under Fire.
The Marine, The Sentinel, Broken Arrow, Planet of the Apes (2001), Chain Reaction, Entrapment and Phone Booth hit retail on Feb. 13.
Then arriving March 13 are Ice Age, Dodgeball, Mr. & Mrs. Smith and Commando, the latter of which was originally set for Jan. 23 but delayed.
AVP, Courage Under Fire and Broken Arrow also will be the studio's first titles to integrate the motion sensor technology that works with D-Box furniture. The discs also will include DTS-HD Master Audio. All carry an SRP of $39.98.Most of the titles carry bonus features. AVP, Courage Under Fire and Men of Honor include commentaries. There are featurettes and an Easter egg tied to Marine. Also featuring commentaries are Entrapment, Phone Booth, Planet of the Apes and The Sentinel.
Ice Age includes commentary, deleted scenes and the “Gone Nutty: Scrat’s Missing Adventure” short from the standard DVD edition, and Mr. & Mrs. Smith, a 50GB disc, offers multiple commentaries, deleted scenes and a “Making a Scene” featurette.
Separately, Fox is issuing replacement discs for the Blu-ray edition of Speed. People can call 888.223.2369 for details on swapping out the Nov. 14 release. Speed reportedly will not play on some Samsung Blu-ray players.
