Before The Osbournes or The Anna Nicole Smith Show, there was MTV's reality show The Real World, which just wrapped its 11th successful season. To celebrate its 10th anniversary last year, the show took place in New York, which was the site of the original Real World. Now MTV has released the inevitable behind--the--scenes footage of that season, and the result is a hilarious 50--minute showcase of the best and newly released moments. Strangely, none of the tension that the cast experienced early on in the season is touched upon (notably between small-town Mike and outspoken Coral), and what really comes through here is how much fun they all had together. All the roommates are featured, but Mike is really the star of the show, and his shenanigans are on full display, whether he's putting on his alter-ego, the professional wrestler "The Miz," or making a fake porn movie. The special also features plenty of MTV-required sex scenes and antics related to toilet trouble, atomic wedgies and other bodily functions. Obviously, fans of the show will go wild over this companion material, especially the DVD, which features cast bios and audition tapes. With massive advertising on MTV, visibility for the product will be high and rentals strong. --Mayna Bergmann
