Story Line: Unfulfilled housewife Donna (LaFleur) envies her sexy girlfriends, each of whom seems to have a more passionate lover than she does. In her fantasy life, Donna awakens each morning in the bed of a different man, as her female buddies take turns seducing her husband.
Bottom Line: Softcore sex flicks aren't known for their inventive plots, but the story line for Animal Attraction (also know as Insatiable Wives) is particularly weak, just barely linking a series of romantic liaisons. And they're pretty tepid liaisons, at that: Sedan stages most of the erotic encounters in a thoroughly routine manner, with his actors and camera making the same moves repeatedly. The performers are adequately talented and extremely attractive (especially LaFleur), but they're badly let down by anemic scripting and unimaginative direction. As a result, Animal Attraction will induce ennui in all but the most overheated viewers. Provocative packaging reminiscent of the Animal Instincts series, coupled with the presence of genre faves LaFleur and Michaels, should stimulate trade, but don't expect renters to return this tape singing. --Ed Hulse
