Jamie Kennedy to host EMA Awards

Show is part of three-day Vegas conference

APRIL 2 | Actor and writer Jamie Kennedy will host the Entertainment Merchants Assn.’s Home Entertainment Awards Show in Las Vegas June 24.

The show is part of the trade organization’s three-day Home Media Expo at the Palms Resort Hotel Casino.

Kennedy’s credits include roles in Wes Craven’s Scream and Scream 2 as well as Three Kings, Enemy of the State and Bowfinger.

“Jamie Kennedy has the ability to disappear into the characters that he plays, and these roles extend beyond the silver screen to embrace every channel of entertainment,” EMA president Bo Andersen said.

Kennedy’s 2007 documentary Heckler was accepted into the Tribeca Film Festival and will be available on DVD in July.
