APRIL 11 | 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment named international executive Mary Daily its new executive VP of marketing for North America.

Daily, who will report to general manager of North America Simon Swart, is returning to the studio. Earlier, she worked with Mike Dunn, who is currently president of Fox, in the studio’s European marketing unit in London. Most recently, Daily was head of new programme enterprises at MTV Networks International.

Daily will oversee all marketing and product development efforts and will play a key role in marketing Blu-ray Disc and the studio’s Digital Copy technology for portable devices.

She has already been at work. “Mary brings a creative intensity and dynamic to marketing campaigns unlike any other executive and really gets them firing on all cylinders,” said Dunn. “She’s already made an impact on the team as evidenced by the integrated and comprehensive campaign we launched for Alvin and the Chipmunks last week.”

“Mary is a successful creative leader with the proven ability to bring a variety of entertainment products to diverse markets globally,” Swart said. “As we are currently offering consumers multiple ways to enjoy our products, Mary’s unique experience makes her the ideal candidate to guide Fox in the evolving consumer home entertainment marketplace.”
