NOV. 20 | Warner Home Video and DC Comics will release animated DVD premiere Wonder Woman on Feb. 24 (prebook Jan. 20). The title will bow on single-disc standard-definition for $19.98; two-disc standard special edition, $29.98; and Blu-ray Disc, $34.99.
Wonder Woman follows the creation of the superhero.
Similar to this year’s hot comic film Iron Man, Wonder Woman is an “origins story” that follows the creation of the superhero, who starts as Princess Diana.
Wonder Woman voice talent includes Felicity’s Keri Russell, Sin City’s Rosario Dawson and Desperate Housewives’ Nathan Fillion.
Also in the cast are Oliver Platt, Virginia Madsen and David McCallum. Bruce Timm, who produced past Warner/DC efforts Superman: Doomsday and Batman: Gotham Knight, also is behind Wonder Woman.
The two-disc and Blu-ray versions include a digital copy download. Among bonus features for both versions are a documentary on female superheroes and a Wonder Woman featurette.
