> So-so youth comedy relies on crude sexual material and gross-out gags.
The Whitest Kids U Know’s Zach Cregger and Trevor Moore won themselves a chance to star in and direct a feature film, and the result was this tepid comedy. Cregger plays an abstinent teen whose virginal high school girlfriend (Raquel Alessi) becomes a Playboy centerfold after he falls into a coma. Awakened several years later, the unlucky youth gets this news from his stoner-slacker best friend (Moore) and embarks upon the inevitable cross-country drive to reclaim his beloved. Miss March’s draggy third act unfolds at the real Playboy Mansion, where Cregger’s nerd confronts his former sweetie, while Moore’s madcap enjoys a private audience with none other than Hugh Hefner.
Shelf Talk: We can’t imagine Miss March having much impact beyond men in the 18-to-25 age group and perhaps dedicated fans of the still-kicking Playboy magazine.
