Nicholas D'Agosto Takes It Inside
|
“It was a really personal film and we knew it was going to be a small project,” D’Agosto recently told us regarding Inside, which was produced in 2006. But I have to say that it meant something personal to all of us at the time, and I’m glad I did it.”
Written and directed by Jeff Mahler, Inside won the Grand Jury Award at the 2006 Dances With Wolves Film Festival in L.A., at which D’Agosto participated in a post-screening Q&A.
D’Agosto pointed out that Inside picked up a nice buzz on the Internet, which is where he “finds out everything for and about myself!”
“I check out my IMDB chatrooms, but I don’t look much past that or it’s a train wreck,” D’Agosto laughed. “I checked out the boards after my first episode of Heroes and it wasn’t pretty! But I did write my own bio on the IMDB because I didn’t want anyone else to write it for me. It’s getting to the point where some people’s bios read like a pitch letter to get a job.”
And speaking of Heroes, what’s the story with D’Agosto’s character of West Rosen, the young man with the ability to fly? He was last seen on the show in December when his onscreen girlfriend Claire (Hayden Panattiere) broke up with him. Will West be popping up on new installments of the smash show any time in the near future?
“To that, I would say ‘no,’ D’Agosto told us. “I’m not involved with them anymore--it looks as though I’m not going to be in the show. And I’m not under contract.”
“I could come back, but I don’t have to come back,” he quickly added. “So it’s not unrealistic that my run on the show is over.”
