NOV. 20 | Denon Electronics will offer free Blu-ray Disc copies of Warner Home Video’s The Dark Knight and its predecessor Batman Begins with purchase of either one of the manufacturer’s three Blu-ray set-top players.
To be eligible to receive the titles, consumers must buy Denon's $749 DVD-1800BD, $999 DVD-2500BTCI or $1,999 DVD-3800BDCI between Nov. 23 to Jan. 10. Denon buyers will be asked to return their players’ proof of purchase and a claim form in order to score copies of Dark Knight and Batman Begins.
“The Dark Knight truly epitomizes what this high-resolution format has to offer for home entertainment, both in terms of high-quality content, image and sound,” said Joe Stinziano, senior VP of sales and marketing at Denon. “Most importantly, our Blu-ray promotion with Warner is designed to benefit both our valued retail partners as well as consumers by generating excitement for Blu-ray products. Consumers will be looking for a strong value this holiday, season and an attractive offer tied to the year’s highest grossing film will help drive store traffic and sales.”
