Director's Series: Stanley Kubrick

Warner is celebrating "history's greatest directors" in its new Director's Series of DVD. First up is Stanley Kubrick.

On Oct. 23 (prebook Sept. 18), a six-film collection will debut on DVD priced at $79.92 and including special editions of 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange, Eyes Wide Shut, The Shining, Full Metal Jacket Deluxe Edition and the full-length documentary A Life in Pictures.

All the movies also will debut individually on HD DVD and Blu-ray, priced at $28.99 each on both formats.

The special editions include various supplements, with Eyes Wide Shut offering both the rated and unrated versions and the new featurette "Lost Kubrick: The Films That Never Were."
