Great news for 'Dr. Horrible' fans
December 22, 2008
Yes, Doogie, it's official: Neil Patrick Harris is everywhere.
Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, the cult Web series starring Harris in the title role, last week began being distributed on both DVD and CD exclusively by Amazon.com's CreateSpace CD-on-demand service.
The series, written and produced by Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon with help from his brothers Jed and Zack during the Writers Guild of America strike, began being sold on DVD on Dec. 19 for $9.99. Its three episodes, totaling about 45 minutes combined, first aired on the Internet in July.
The series, which is also available in digital form on Apple's iTunes, co-stars Nathan Fillion and Felicia Day, who both had recurring roles in Buffy.
Time magazine went as far as naming Dr. Horrible the fourth-best TV series of 2008.
