Blu-ray to decimate DVD?

Blu-ray backers have never held back in boasting about the format. After sales surpassed HD DVD during January, Sony homevideo president David Bishop declared the format war over. And before it really even launched, Fox homevideo pres Mike Dunn said there was no format war.
But they've both been outdone by their European ally. Speaking at CeBIT, Europe's CES (I think), chair of the Blu-ray Disc Assoc. in Europe Frank Simonis said Blu-ray will kill DVD in three years.
Mark it on the calendar! (I'd use pencil.)
