Warner Must Terminate a Mistake
December 21, 2007
If only we had the Terminator on hand to catch these high-def flareups! Not so long after buyers of Warner's Blu-ray
Harry Potter gift set
were surprised by wrongly included HD DVD discs, people discovered the studio's BD release of
Terminator 3 was not encoded correctly in high-definition. It looks like
T3 can only output to 1080i, regardless of BD players being able to output to the more pristine 1080p. There is a customer service number available to people having problems with
T3: 1-800-553-6937. In a quick call to the number, the service woman explained they are in the process of setting up a replacement program. But people can give customer reps their name and address so they can be mailed the new disc when Warner makes it available.
