By Samantha Clark -- Video Business, 9/27/2007

See our full list of Q4 new releases.

SEPT. 27 | With record-breaking grosses at the box office this summer, the fourth quarter promises to be busy for DVD.

Including this week’s release of Knocked Up from Universal Studios Home Entertainment, 15 movies with theatrical grosses of more than $100 million will hit shelves before the end of the year—and those are just the ones that have been formally announced.

October kicks off with 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment’s Fantastic Four: Ride of the Silver Surfer on Oct. 2. That will be followed by Paramount Home Entertainment’s box-office juggernaut Transformers on Oct. 16 and Sony Pictures Home Entertainment’s third Spider-Man on Oct. 30.

November is packed with Universal’s I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry and Pixar/Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment’s Ratatouille on Nov. 6; Warner Home Video’s Ocean’s Thirteen and DreamWorks Animation/Paramount’s Shrek the Third on Nov. 13; and New Line Home Entertainment/Warner’s Hairspray and Fox’s Live Free or Die Hard on Nov. 20.

But the biggest month will be December, when Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End bows Dec. 4, followed by Universal’s The Bourne Ultimatum and Warner’s Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix on Dec. 11, Fox’s The Simpsons Movie on Dec. 18 and New Line/Warner’s Rush Hour 3 on Dec. 26.
