To promote its 101 Dalmatians: Platinum Edition DVD, Disney turned Route 101 in Los Angeles into the ‘101 Dalmations Freeway,’ as 101 spotted cars drove on the highway to spcaLA’s Animal Village in Long Beach, Calif., on March 2.
The Business of Being Born producer Ricki Lake recently visited New Line’s office in Los Angeles. The documentary will be released on DVD May 6.

The classic TV show sails to DVD on March 4.
Classics including sitcom Love Boat and soap General Hospital: Night Shift are poised for their disc debuts.
The Love Boat: Season One, Vol. 1 bows March 4 (prebook Jan. 22) in a three-disc set priced at $36.98 from Paramount.
Disney delivers the first season of General Hospital: Night Shift on Feb. 12 (prebook Jan. 1) also in a three-disc set, priced at $29.99.
New shows Damages, Tell Me You Love Me and Torchwood also are coming to DVD for the first time.
BBC’s sci-fi Torchwood streets first, with its Complete First Season seven-disc set arriving Jan. 22 (order now; $79.98). BBC product is distributed by Warner.
FX court drama Damages: The Complete First Season will bow a week later, on Jan. 29 (prebook Dec. 27; three-disc set $49.95) from Sony. The show also will be released on Blu-ray Disc, priced at $79.95.
Then HBO drama Tell Me You Love Me: The Complete First Season will street Feb. 12 (prebook Jan. 8) in a four-disc set ($69.98). It will be distributed by Warner.
