Four creatures must be battled in the sequel.
In the midst of a slew of horror titles, three scary movies with large drooling animals are due.
Fox will bow Lake Placid 2 on Jan. 29 (order now; DVD $26.98). In this sequel, Lake Placid townsfolk must battle four of the offspring of the creature from the original movie.
On Feb. 5 (prebook Dec. 25), Genius will deliver Croc, about bodies mysteriously piling up at a failing crocodile farm. It will be priced at $14.95 on DVD.
Then First Look’s Megasnake arrives March 4 (prebook Jan. 29; DVD $26.98). In this movie, a deadly mythical creature is awakened during an expedition to recover the remains of a prehistoric dinosaur.
