Across the Universe DVD, Blu-ray, PSP

Sony's musical Across the Universe (yeah, the strange looking one with all the cool Beatles songs) got mixed reviews in theaters (Variety said it's "hard to dislike but hard to take seriously"). Still it grossed $23 million in limited release.

Sony bows the extravaganza Feb. 5 (prebook Jan. 3) on DVD ($28.96), Blu-ray ($38.96) and for the PlayStation Portable ($24.94).

Here are the special features:

    • “FX on the Universe” – exploring the film’s visual effects with VFX supervisor Kyle Cooper
    • “Moving Across the Universe” – a featurette on the choreography including an interview with choreographer Daniel Ezralow
