MySpace/Sony Launch Minisode Network
June 19, 2007
Sony Pictures Television launched its
Minisode Network on MySpace, wherein the studio cuts classic sitcoms and Pamela Anderson show
VIP down to 3-5 minutes. I took a look at
a Who's the Boss? minisode, which was really choppy, with the video stopping every few minutes making it nearly impossible to watch. The story seemed to flow, but I can't really say since I gave up after about 10 buffering stops.
Sony plans to add new shows and episodes weekly, with 500 minisodes available by the end of the year. Right now, shows available
include Starsky & Hutch,
TJ Hooker,
Charlie's Angels, The Partridge Family, Facts of Life and several others.
