AT&T taking TV mobile
May 2, 2008

AT&T is launching a cell phone video service, that's reportedly exactly like Verizon's V Cast and is operated by the same company.

According to an Associated Press story on VB sister publication Variety, AT&T will charge $15 a month for the service, which will have two exclusive channels.

So, what will viewers get for their 15 bucks? Eight channels that are the same as Verizon's: CBS Mobile, Comedy Central, ESPN Mobile TV, Fox Mobile, MTV, NBC 2Go, NBC News 2Go and Nickelodeon. Plus, there's the two exclusive AT&T channels: CNN Mobile Live and Pix, which has movies from Sony.

Initially, only LG Vu and Samsung Access will get the service. But AT&T promises other phones in the future.
