Movie downloads coming to PS3

Not too much of a surprise but it's getting a lot of notice online. The head of Sony's studio division for the PS3 confirmed in an interview that Sony plans to offer movie downloads through the PlayStation 3. The company has positioned the device as an entertainment center for the home and, more important for downloads, it already connects to the TV. No specific details on when the downloads are coming.
Rival Microsoft began offering movie downloads through the Xbox 360 late last year.
