Most content on YouTube not copyrighted?

During Viacom's earnings call this morning, one of the analysts estimated that of the top 100 viral videos on YouTube and Google over the last six months, less than 5% were clips of studio-owned content, which is kind of interesting. Viacom president and CEO Philip Dauman disputed that, saying Viacom material accounted for a substantial part of YouTube traffic before its demand last month that the site remove 100,000 clips that include Viacom content. Since the takedown, Dauman said Viacom-owned sites have gotten more traffic.
