Internet show moves to TV
November 19, 2007
As if proof that Internet rights are worthy to be fought for, Variety reports that NBC has signed a deal to air Internet series Quarterlife.
Created and produced by Marshall Herskovitz and Edward Zwick, the show about twentysomething angst has been airing on MySpace.
Only the first season is finished, but Variety reports that if a second season is greenlit while the strike is continuing, the producers will write a contract that includes the types of Internet residuals the WGA has been seeking.
