Fox Downloads Up
November 3, 2006

Fox said in August that it would start selling movie and TV show downloads through its IGN Entertainment Direct2Drive site and I finally browsed around it today after a friend forwarded the link noting it's up.

Pricing is definitely above that of the Apple store and even CinemaNow, which has been running low-priced promos on a regular basis. X-Men - The Last Stand is selling for $19.95 as are other new releases. But older films like Office Space are priced at $9.99. TV show pricing varies more from $39.95 for a full season of 24 to $12.95 to get up to date on the first seven episodes of Bones season 2. The TV shows are all Fox shows, but the site has movies from Fox and Lionsgate.
