Deal Me In

October 8, 2007 Retailers have been throwing some pretty neat high-def offers at us these days. It doesn't matter where you're shopping - someone is ready to hand you 5 or 7 or 8 free Blu-ray or HD DVD titles with purchase of an accompanying player. But sometimes it can be hard to keep track of everything.  Take this week's Best Buy 'HD Package' offer, which throws everything Sony at the wall to apparently see what sticks. You can score a 40" Sony 1080p LCD HDTV, a 60 GB Playstation 3, a Playstation 3 game and a Blu-ray movie for $2089.96. That shaves $500 off the regular combined pricing for these items. With all these different offers hitting us now, I wonder what crazy things studios and stores will think up for us for the holidays?
