Wal-Mart Black Friday Pricing for Dad

June 11, 2009 Special for Father's Day, Wal-Mart will be selling its Magnavox Blu-ray player for $128, starting June 14. That's the chain's same clearance tag for the product during last year's Black Friday.
Wal-Mart is hoping Dad can put the Blu-ray player and some other related sale-priced products into what the chain somewhat creepily calls his 'Man Cave.' I take it this is just a cool word for 'living room.'
There are also 2 for $20 Blu-ray title bundles, featuring such discs as The Italian Job, The Shooter, Face Off and Next. Dad can also buy a $399 Playstation 3 that comes with free copies of Quantum of Solace on Blu-ray and game MLB '09: The Show.

In some TV related savings, Wal-Mart will be selling $398 Sanyo 37-inch LCDs (720p - model DP37649), $697 Vizio 42-inch LCDs (1080p - model VO420E), and $1,788 Sony Bravia 52-inch TVs (1080p - model KDL-52S5100).
It sounds like Wal-Mart is hooking up Dad with some great deals. And if Wal-Mart is willing to hit the Black Friday mark in June for its Blu-ray players - they'll have to dip below $100 on them to make a splash around the holidays.

Kim's Video & Music in New York, is offering all Bluray titles at 20% off. They really have a great selection. There is also a huge collection foreign films.
