NOV. 7 | Independent DVD supplier Acorn Media Group has hired Bruce Belliveau as chief financial officer and Mark Stevens as president, replacing John Lorenz who was promoted to vice chairman.
Belliveau has served as VP of corporate finance for Dean Witter Reynolds, VP of investment banking at Prudential Securities and executive VP and group CFO at Georgeson Shareholder Communications.
Stevens worked with Time Warner as executive VP of Time Life U.S., president of Time Life Music and in sales and marketing roles at HBO. Most recently, he was senior VP at AARP Services.
In his new role as president, Stevens will oversee all aspects of Acorn's North American home video distribution.
Acorn's library includes British TV programming as well as a line of health and wellness titles under the Acacia label.
