Koch to handle International Media distribution

JAN. 17 | Koch Entertainment Distribution signed an exclusive deal to distribute DVDs from International Media, a new company formed by former PBS VP of programming Gustavo Sagastume, who serves as International Media’s president and CEO.
One of the DVD releases will be Shangri La, a dance special from China that will air on PBS in March. A DVD release date has not yet been announced.
Another title International Media has been involved with is John Paul II: A Saint for Our Times, which recently premiered on PBS.
“These are both difficult and exciting times in the media world because of the many changes that are taking place in the marketplace,” Sagastume said. “I think a company like Koch is well suited to be a nimble and agile player in this very dynamic new world market.”
