Let’s count online video and downloads as part of the home video business

In its growth projections for online video, research concern Understanding and Solutions shows digital revenue as a percentage of “Total Home Video” revenue, which is as it should be.

This recognizes how consumers are using the different forms of movie delivery. They don’t want a download, or a DVD, they want to see a movie, and they have more ways to get that movie than ever before. But as long as it is in the home video window, it ought to be considered home video.
