Goodbye Flower

Meerkat Manor fans are mourning the loss of matriarch Flower, who died bravely defending her cubs from a cobra. Animal Planet has set up a memorial at its Web site, which reports that the queen meerkat will be featured in her own feature-length movie in theaters next year.
We're sorry for the Whiskers family loss, but as that episode reportedly brought in one of the highest ratings of the the show's three-year run, according to Variety, there will no doubt be a boost in attention for the DVD, which is being released through Genius tomorrow.
