The Invention of Lying DVD and Blu-ray

The laughs and romance continue to stake out the first quarter with the announcement of the release of The Invention of Lying from Warner on Jan. 19 (prebook Dec. 15).
The comedy, which was written and directed by the team of Ricky Gervais and Matthew Robinson, concerns the life and loves of a loser (Gervais) who lives in a world where nobody lies. Also starring Jennifer Garner, Louis C.K. and Rob Lowe, The Invention of Lying rang up $18 million at the box office this fall. The DVD and Blu-ray versions will each contain more than an hour of supplemental materials, with the Blu-ray edition also offering a Digital Copy.
The DVD is priced at $29.98; the Blu-ray’s suggested retail price is $35.99.
