Public Enemies DVD, Blu-ray

After grossing $97 million in theaters, Michael Mann's Public Enemies, about the FBI's pursuit of infamous outlaw John Dillinger, will be released on Dec. 8 (prebook Oct. 20).
The movie stars Johnny Depp and Christian Bale.
Universal is really pushing the Blu-ray version, pricing it at $36.98, only $2 more than the two-DVD special edition at $34.98. The movie also will be available in a single DVD for $29.98.
The studio also has piled up the Blu-ray will exclusives, including the iPhone/iPod Touch app Virtual Remote & Keyboard: Control and Communicate With Ease" and Mobile-to-Go, with which users can add exclusive bonus features to their device.
The Blu-ray also will have BD Live access, My Scenes Sharing and Gangster Movie Challenge.
The two-DVD and Blu-ray versions will offer digital copy downloadable for iPod, Mac or PC.
And both versions will include five featurettes: "Michael Mann: Making Public Enemies," "On Dilliger's Trail: The Real Locations," "Larger Than Life: Adversaries," "Criminal Technology" and "Last of the Legendary Outlaws."
All three versions will have commentary with Mann and the "Larger Than Life" featurette.
