Netflix Demos New Video Player

Netflix demoed a new version of its Watch Now Internet movie viewing service using Microsoft's recently announcedSilverlight video plug-in that delivers higher quality video and plays on PCs and Macs. Execs gave the demo at the Mix 07 conference in Vegas. No word on when they'll begin using the updated player for Watch Now, which now only plays on PCs using Windows XP. (via Hacking Netflix)
