Samsung Wants To Hug Dad

Just in time for Father's Day, Samsung Blu-ray players are featured in a couple of cool promotions. 
Over at Amazon.com, you can gift Dad a Samsung's BDP-1400 for $299, and save about $100 from its usual going price. Samsung's latest Blu-ray player, the picture-in-picture capable BDP-1500, still seems set at $399.
Circuit City is holding a 'Pass the Popcorn' sweepstakes, where you can enter to win a whole suite of Samsung products. The package includes a 58" Samsung plasma TV, a 7.1 home theater system with Blu-ray player, a $300 Circuit City gift card, and free delivery and installation.
Any Dad, or Mom and kids, for that matter, would be thrilled with that kind of entertainment set-up in their homes.
These latest deals follow Wal-Mart's June 8 to June 14 promotion, where people can score $100 store gift cards with purchase of  Blu-ray players.
