Indie BD Titles Can Be Had For $10 Or Less

They might not star your favorite A-lister, but several BD films are cropping up from indie suppliers as extreme value-priced. 
Today's release Shinobi - Hear Under Blade, from anime specialist Funimation, is tagged at $10 on Amazon.com. That follows Echo Bridge Entertainment's April 1 bow of actioner The Last Sentinel and comedy Beer League, both priced at $9.95 at Amazon.com. 
Although there is no Brad, Denzel or Julia to be found, the films at the least have to be satisfactory. BD is movie watching in its more pristine form. I'd even say BD is a lot like pizza - even the worst is pretty darn good. 
I do highly doubt major studios will be following suit with this sort of pricing. But for indies, who are always struggling for attention, bargain-pricing their BD titles might emerge as a smart way to stand out on shelves.
