Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging DVD

Paramount is following its pattern of releasing movies on DVD for rental-only first, a strategy the studio began with Dance Flick and Imagine That, with Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging.
The British import, directed by Bend It Like Beckham helmer Gurinder Chadha, is going straight to DVD here but got a theatrical release in the U.K.
Angus tells the story of a 14-year-old girl who keeps a diary about the ups and downs of being a teenager and what she learns about kissing.
Paramount will offer the comedy on DVD for rental only on Dec. 22 (prebook Nov. 10). The disc will include commentary by the director and young stars, behind-the-scenes featurettes, video diaries, deleted scenes, bloopers and a photo gallery.
