Inglourious Basterds DVD, Blu-ray
October 19, 2009
Quentin Tarantino topped $100 million at the box office for the first time since Pulp Fiction with his latest, World War II comedy/drama Inglourious Basterds, and the movie will be released on DVD and Blu-ray Dec. 15 (prebook Nov. 3) from Universal.
The $118.3 million-grossing Basterds, starring Brad Pitt, will be available in two versions on DVD, single-disc for $29.98 and two-disc special edition for $34.98, as well as Blu-ray, priced at $39.98.
Special features aren't announced yet, but the Blu-ray and two-DVD versions will include digital copy.
Timed to the movie's theatrical run, Severin released the 1978 film The Inglorious Bastards, which inspired Tarantino's film, on Blu-ray in July.
Basterds' comes to disc the same day as The Hangover, G-Force and Taking Woodstock. Click for the full list of quarterly new releases.
