JUNE 20 | Infinity Entertainment has signed a multi-title DVD output deal with cult specialist Retromedia Entertainment.

Launched in 2006, Infinity will first distribute from Retromedia sci-fi classic Planet of Dinosaurs and erotic film Harlots of the Caribbean. Both street Aug. 28 (prebook July 31) for $14.98 each.

Retromedia was founded in 2001 by B-movie mogul Fred Olen Ray, who has directed more than 100 movies to date, including Invisible Mom with Dee Wallace and Inner Sanctum with Tanya Roberts.

“Fred Olen Ray is an iconic filmmaker among cult film fans and popular among all who enjoy horror, science-fiction and softcore erotic titles,” said Rick Buehler, VP of sales and acquisitions for Infinity. “Retromedia’s eclectic slate of classic and contemporary films are the type of product that performs well with the personalized and targeted sales and marketing programs at which Infinity excels.”

Ray added, “We are extremely happy to have signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Infinity Entertainment and look forward to a long and profitable relationship.”
